Mutated beasts, living fossils, alien terrors and giant robots run amok are a serious danger to humanity in a world inspired by Japanese monster movies and atomic horror B-movies. Rampaging monsters are imprisoned on Monster Island, where the giant creatures battle endlessly among themselves for domination.
Use pre-generated monsters included in the book or invent your own giant horrors using the quick and easy point-based monster creation rules. Monster Island contains a color cardstock insert with cut-out monster miniatures, and the book also contains rules for play with toy monsters of any size. The game uses the Action! rules system, and is recommended for ages 8+. No gamemaster is required. You can play Monster Island on a tabletop, on the floor or anywhere you like - all you need is a ruler, some ordinary six-sided dice and something to represent the monsters. |
