DEUTSCHE VERSION!!!
Immerse yourself in the world of Tales are Real, the competitive fantasy card game, and play out the battle between the fierce Animalis and the mysterious Shadows. As the commander of your own small army of five creatures, victory or defeat depends on your strategic skills. In each battle, your creatures face off against your opponent's creatures, with the battles proceeding on a turn-by-turn basis. Each commander sends exactly one creature into battle per turn, until all creatures have had their turn. This fact brings an unexpected strategic depth to the game. Therefore, don't plan your next move, but your opponent's next two moves!
What is a main game?
Tales are Real: Animalis vs Schatten is a main game. All main games can be played directly out of the box, but can be combined in a modular way. The contents from the different boxes can be combined with each other as desired.
One game, different game modes
In addition to the classic game mode, which takes around 30-60 minutes to complete, there are two other modes available to you in Tales are Real: Survival! and 2-vs-2.
The game mode "Survival!" is, as the name suggests, all about bare survival! Instead of playing the prescribed five rounds, both players fight to completely destroy their opponent's creatures. This results in much shorter games that are nevertheless quite challenging - ideal for quick games in between or several games in a row without going into the early hours of the morning. An average game lasts 15-20 minutes.
The ""2-vs-2"" mode is a game for four people. As the name suggests, two teams of two players compete against each other. Each player commands his own creatures and, in cooperation with his ally, must bring the opponents to their knees. 2-vs-2 can be played both in classic game mode and in Survival! mode. A second main game is required. Gameplay Tales are Real plays like a classic trading card game without really being one.
