It's time for the Annual Ice Lake Races!
Our first game out the door, Ice Lake is also the one that convinced us to start a game company.
Ice Lake is a board game for 2 to 4 people. It plays very quickly, with a single match usually taking between 10 - 30 minutes. We often play two or three games at a sitting.
Playing Ice Lake is a blast! Players are ice skaters on a lake with very thin ice. You try to skate circles around your opponents, cracking the ice around them and dumping them into the drink. While you play, you actually draw on the board with dry erase markers. The board gets more and more colorful as the tension builds.
So strap on your skates and plan your course across the ice - because this race isn't about moving fast. It's about not falling through.
See that guy skating around you? Better not let him complete that circle.
This ice is thin, dangerously thin. As you skate, you leave behind cracks in the ice. And you really don't want to be surrounded by cracks.
That is, not unless you brought a wet-suit. And a lot of hot chocolate. |
